One Litre of Tears

Just watched this Jap drama based on a true story about this girl who contracted some rare neuron-related disease... only caught the last 2 epis actually.... my sis was watching, so i couldn't help but join in.... its really really touching...

Watching the girl getting weaker and helpless everyday, not knowing if she would be alive to see the next day is heart-wrenching. From a healthy, bubbly young girl at the age of 14, the disease gradually crippled her to a helpless, defenceless patient who can't even speak properly. Dreams that every teenager seems to be entitled to, goals that people strive for in life, everything.... have been so cruelly ripped away from her bare hands... how cruel can life be.... it is a true story, and the line "what is my purpose in life?" vividly echoes in my mind.

Be glad that we are well and alive. Cherish your loved ones.
